Stage 10 – Aurillac to Carmaux

The shortest stage of this years Tour de France at 158km meant a win for Omega Pharma-Lotto in Aurillac, but not the green jersey wearer Philippe Gilbert. Gilbert, yellow jersey wearer Voeckler were in a group that broke away over the last climb with Gilbert trying very bravely to get away from the peleton, but ultimately they all merged together.

The peleton ended up in a bunch sprint with, Andre Greipel beat Mark Cavendish on a sprint to the line.
